Stanbic IBTC Bank, a prominent Nigerian financial institution, is facing mounting criticism over allegations of botched transactions and lack of refunds. Two customers have come forward with complaints that highlight the bank’s apparent failure to ensure seamless and secure services.
Miss Oluchi Nnoka reported that on September 29, 2024, she attempted to withdraw N31,400, but the transaction failed, and the funds were not returned. Another customer alleged that a transaction of N76,000 made on October 1, 2024, was not delivered to the intended recipient.
Despite numerous apologies, the bank has yet to provide a resolution or refund the disputed amounts. This inaction has sparked widespread concern among customers, eroding trust in the bank’s ability to manage their funds securely.
The recurring complaints raise questions about Stanbic IBTC Bank’s operational efficiency, customer service, and commitment to protecting its customers’ interests.
This negative slant highlights the bank’s alleged failure to resolve customer complaints and emphasizes the need for accountability and regulatory intervention.
