Polaris Bank Under Fire Over Failed 10 Million Naira Transaction

A disgruntled customer has taken to social media to express frustration with Polaris Bank over a failed transaction totaling of the sum of over Ten Million Naira (N10,161,250).

The customer by name Muazu Abu Juwairiyya, alleged that on September 23, 2024, he made the payment for M L I Global Enterprises company registration using the Remita Reference Number (RRR) platform. However, despite confirmation of payment, the transaction status remains unsuccessful.

According to the customer, “Dear sir i paid the some of 10,161.25 for M L I GLOBAL ENTERPRISES company registration, on sep, 23, 2024 at 12:33:38pm, with RRR i try to check payment status still not successful i need reversal.”

The customer’s frustration stems from Polaris Bank’s apparent inability to rectify the issue or provide a timely reversal of the funds. This has led to accusations of gross negligence and a lack of accountability within the bank’s operations.

Critics argue that this incident highlights Polaris Bank’s systemic failures in transaction processing and customer support. The bank’s inability to ensure seamless transactions has compromised the trust of its customers.

The bank’s response has been inadequate, with many promises of rectifying issues without solutions.
