Officer Ayilara steals show as LNSC Ifako-Ijaiye hosts End-of-year/Send Forth Party
Officer Ayilara Oyebamiji of the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Ifao-Ijaiye, stole the show at the Agency’s end-of-year and send forth party held on Wednesday, December 27 at the NRC building, Old Akute Road as she bagged three awards.
Officer Oyebamiji won the Most Hardworking Female Officer; Solutions Provider Female Officer and the Face of LNSC Female awards.
Other winners include; Most productive constabulary – Aleshinloye Afeeze; Best Link Officer Female – Abimboye Beatrice; Best Link officer Male – Olayiwola Basiru; Best Intelligence Officer – Teslim Yamuso; Most Disciplined male officer – Gbogboade Joshua; Most Hardworking Male Officer- Oluwakilede Tokunbo; Punctuality Female Officer – Obafemi Funmilayo; Best Dressed Female Officer -Jeremiah omoyeme; Best Dressed Male Officer – Fadare Fasasi; Most Friendly Officer Male – Adelowo Aduragbemi; Most Friendly Female Officer – Abimboye Beatrice; Punctuality Male Officer – Adeyemi Michael and others.
Speaking in his goodwill message, the Corps coordinator in Ifako-Ijaiye, CS Temitope Lawal thanked the General Manager of the LNSC in Lagos State, Oyekan Falade for his reforms and dedication to keeping Lagos Safe.
He also commended the Council Chairman in Ifako-Ijaiye LG, Prince Usman Hamzat and the House of Assembly member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01, Hon Adewale Temitope Adedeji (ATA) for their unrelenting support for the corps in the local government.
According to him, the event was to appreciate God and officers of the Corps who put their lives on the line for a peaceful Ifako-Ijaiye.
“I must also commend officers of the various beats that make up Ifako-Ijaiye for their dedication in helping to keep Ifako-Ijaiye safe. You are all courageous men and women who always put the job first at all times. I am proud of you all,” he added.
While presenting gifts to CS Babatunde Onipede, the outgone coordinator in Ifako-Ijaiye (On behalf of the LNSC), the CDC chairman, Ifako-Ijaiye, Pastor Samuel Opajobi, commended the LNSC leadership of CS Lawal, praising him for bringing new ideas and approach to community policing.
He also urged those present to support the LNSC for a safer and peaceful Ifako-Ijaiye.
The Corps also presented gifts to two other retirees; DCS Okumola Sunday and DT Prince Fatai Ogabi.
The event was graced by stakeholders and community leaders within and outside Ifako-Ijaiye, notably Hon (Evang) Funke Olaleye (Asst. Financial Secretary, Lagos State APC); CS Braimoh Phillips from Ikeja; CS Olumide from Ojodu, amongst others.
