N200,000 Allegedly Goes Missing From Access Bank Account without Signature

Despite demonstrating strong resilience despite the challenging macroeconomic environment in the country in the first half of 2024, Access Bank Plc. posted a triple-digit growth across all profitability metrics, with gross revenue rising by 133.5 per cent year-on-year to N2.2 trillion from N940 billion in the half-year of 2023, supported by higher interest and non-interest earnings in the period.
The bank’s achievement is indeed worth celebrating but at the expense of some wailing customers whose funds allegedly keeps going missing without any form of explanation.
According to one of the bank’s customers, Peter Nwankwo Chigozie, who took to social media, vented his anger at the bank for neglecting his complain of about 19 months and counting without being attended to.
Peter revealed that his account was wrongly debited #200,000 on 16/2/23 for Access Bank SME club subscription without his signature and since then, he has made several complains to the bank but no solution till date.
According to him, “Over 19months my account 0048771520 was wrongly debited #200,000 on 16/2/23 for Access Bank sme club subscription without my signature and without value. This transaction is non and void. Please reverse it immediately.”
