God is Fixing Nigeria, It Takes Time to Fix a Failed System…Pastor Wole Oladiyun

With the dramatic downturn of the Nigerian economy, it has left many business owners stranded, unemployment for many and most multi-national companies have left the country for other countries, most families are not able to afford the regular three square meal anymore.
The challenging economy has seen prices of almost all commodities skyrocket to a questionable point and this is as a result of the failed economic policies which has not been favourable to the country as stakeholders continue to device means of salvaging the lingering economic woes.
As hopes continue to rise in anticipation for better days ahead, Spiritual head of the Christ Living Apostolic Ministries (CLAM), Wole Oladiyun, during the last Sunday church service shared advice to the government of the day with a hope that they will implement them as stating that it takes time to fix a country but things will work out soon.
“God is fixing this country. It really takes time to fix a system that has been down for a while, very soon, things will pick up,” he stated.
Pastor Wole went on to note that the food security issue in the country can be resolved through the collaborative activeness of the Seven Hundred and Seventy Four (774) local government areas and the federal government in partnership with the African Development Bank (AFDB).
According to him, “I want to suggest food security revamping through local government model. Nigeria has 774 local governments areas, the federal government needs to liaise with AFDB (African Development Bank) to collaborate with the 774 local government areas for massive food production project, massive land mass in each local government should be allocated for (farming) agriculture.
“Agricultural production can be conducted across the 774 local government arears to know what grows where. AFDB can fund and monitor the project by setting up a special purpose vehicle (SPV). AFDB should provide machineries and intensive training and literacy for the youths across board. The federal government should set up a special community security force in every local government area and the legislative arm to enact a bill and pass a law to enable this project. IITA, CRIN, FIIRO, NIFOR and other Agric institutions should be involved. The FG must be intentional about this project. I can assure Nigeria that food security will evolve gradually.”
