As the year 2026 begins with renewed hopes, prayers, and expectations, some Nigerian pastors have stepped forward to share what they describe as divine revelations for the new year. Among them is Pastor Towoju Olanrewaju Abraham of Towergate Church of God Ministry International, Abuja, who delivered a striking prophecy during his New Year ministration.

Speaking to his congregation, the cleric said he received a revelation through the Holy Spirit concerning the spiritual direction of 2026, describing the year as one marked by mercy despite looming judgments.

According to Pastor Abraham, the message revealed to him pointed to significant divine intervention in the affairs of Nigeria, particularly against forces he described as long-standing obstacles to the nation’s peace and progress.

He stated that these forces would not be removed by human effort, but by what he described as the direct hand of God, adding that the process would unfold gradually throughout the year.

In his words, the pastor declared:
“2026 is a year God is pulling down four giants that are troubling the peace of this country Nigeria for decades. They will die one by one. Two politicians will fall, one business mogul and a well-known cleric because the cleric failed to counsel, say the truth and seek advice due to mammon.”

Pastor Abraham further urged Nigerians to remain prayerful and discerning, noting that while the year carries mercy, it also demands accountability from leaders across all sectors.

He concluded by encouraging believers to align themselves spiritually, stressing that the unfolding of events in 2026 would serve as a reminder that no position, influence, or wealth places anyone beyond divine judgment.
