BamBam divorce rumour

The Nollywood industry has been awash with speculation in recent days following unconfirmed reports alleging that actress BamBam and her husband, Teddy A, are heading for a divorce.

The rumours, which have gained traction across social media platforms, intensified after claims surfaced suggesting that the actress was allegedly pregnant for a colleague, Uzor Arukwe. Neither BamBam nor Teddy A has publicly addressed the allegations as of the time of filing this report.

The controversy escalated after an X user identified as AHMGABRIEL shared a post alleging infidelity. He wrote, “Popular movie actress BamBam (achalugo) has been reportedly divorced by her husband after finding out his wife was pregnant for her colleague who played the role of her odogwu in their recent movie, he got to find out through her leaked private chat with him. Hmmm it’s sad to say women are never to be trust worthy.”

The allegation has drawn reactions online, with many wondering how true the story is as they cautiously awaits response from all parties involved in the whole alleged dramas.

Uzor Arukwe, who has built a strong reputation in Nollywood and is known for keeping his private life out of the spotlight, has since broken his silence. The actor dismissed the allegations as false and malicious, warning that legal steps would be taken against those responsible.

In a strongly worded statement, Uzor said, “A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry. I choose not to quote the account directly, as I refuse to give such accounts the engagement they seek at the risk of jail time. Believe me when I say this: that individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and Elon Musk money at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation.”

His response signals a potential legal battle as he seeks to protect his reputation from what he described as defamatory content. For now, the alleged divorce and related claims remain unverified.
